About Us

Our Vision:

Pretty Girl Productions LLC operates on two fundamental principles:

ONE the fight itself is the culmination of a series of promotional opportunities that are equally as important in order to maximize exposure and earnings.

TWO the only difference between a word-wide televised match in Las Vegas and a local community match up are the number of seats that can be sold.  Thus, no matter the athlete, or the venue, Pretty Girl Productions will all devote the same amount of effort, passion and pride to ensure a victory inside and outside of the ring.

Mercedes is the first licensed Latino female boxing promoter in the state of New York. In 2014, Mercedes was named WOMEN OF THE YEAR by the Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame.   Born to Puerto Rican parents, Mercedes’ passion for the sport stemmed from what she describes as a cultural event.  Boxing is very much part of the Puerto Rican culture and it is a family event.  She and her family cheered for many boxers including Hector “ Macho” Camacho and Robert Duran. Her brothers often imitated Muhammad Ali.  Ms. Vazquez Simmons’ passion for the sport drove her to develop Pretty Girl Promotions with the hope of revitalizing boxing in Western, New York.  She wants to prove that boxing is very much alive and is enjoyed by a diverse group of fans.  Mercedes has a bachelors of science, degree in Economics and masters in Business Administration.
